Seems like this blog won't be just about food exclusively after all.
I'm sensitive.
Surprise-surprise?
I don't think so.
through what people don't know is that,
I'm sensitive to my surrounding.
like perli-ing
like fingerpointing
like talking in signs
I read those by the minute.
Trust me, it's excruciating sometimes.
I knew somehow, someday, something like this would appear.
Actually. I had a lot of those days. I just shrugged it off.
It's more relaxing that way. Through, I have my limits.
Owh, but trust me it's still not enough for me to blow up the whole town.
So you're safe, for now.
for now, I just have a question to ask.
It will never be enough would it?
no matter how quiet I become.
no matter how neutral I am.
I'll be blamed. Of that nature.
One thing or the other.
But that's alright.
I'm learning,
to quietly depart.
then, may we ALL rest in peace.

A Post-Call Entry
So,
this morning, back from on call (sukerellss bak kate mira F) at 6.30 am in the morning, I -- decided to wash the whites (basoh baju lorr) while konon2 still fresh from on call. And since the clinical coat was all white save some purple emblem on the front, it went into the washing machine too. Of course, I emptied it first, it is after all most sensible to remove the stethoscope, penlight, notebook and ball pen from the pocket. Terrer kan? (ala-ala housewife bejaye men-setel laundry). So imagine mysurprise HorROR when the machine finally stop, I found a vial of blood amidst all the white clothing, spun around with a measuring tape at the center of the machine.
Kepale yg tgh ting-tong: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaa!!! Habislah baju akuuuuu!!!
flashback;
mira: eh, kite dah cucuk2 darah nie, simpan tau botol nie, jgn buang2.
me: ha'ah, kite simpanlah (putting it into the clinical coat pocket)
AAAAAAaaaaaaaaaa!!!
Blood!! mixed with whites??? GIILLLEEEE kAU??
As I search franticly for any specks of blood that could have spilled from the vial, I absentmindedly threw the vial on the floor. Really now, when you need it the most, all common sense would conveniently walk out of the door. sigh~
miraculously, the bottle didn't break. Well, it's because the measuring tape around it (which I also forgot to remove from the coat) dampens the fall. And there was no blood stain anywhere on the cloths (thank God!!). That's when it came back to me, I should have just inspected the vial for any fractures of cracks instead of working through the laundry like a dog having it's day on a plastic bag of garbage.
terase bongok la jugak kan?
owh well, at least the laundry is safe :)
moral of the story: check the clothes for any foreign, dangerous objects i.e; BLOOD VIALs before putting it into the machine.

PMS On The Rise...
So,
today,
I wasted another 3 hours for waiting. Just waiting like there is nothing more to do. Whaddeff lah kan!!! this is the second time it happened. Yesterday was the same. I wasted 3 hours waitng for the God-forsaken bus to depart. It cost me my IKEA diner last night!! Haih..
the bus drivers nowadays are so degraded. They come to the stations late and depart after having rest more than necessary. where's the promises of every 15 mins intercity busses? and where's the 10 mins promise of short distance routes?? it took from 1 hour to 2 and 1/2 hours for ONE measly bus to arrive. and then the passengers have to pray that the bus is going to be ok. Normally there would be 1 bus malfunction at every ten buses in the station. Loitering around and talking crap with each other while waiting for other friends to join in is simply outrageous. Owh, and if any of the customers approach them, it'd be either;
a) scold the customer
b) ignore the person all together
c) flirt if the customer is a young girl
sial sangat kan? name je RAPID KL... rapid lah sgt
they're really getting on my nerves. And I have been PMS-ing for some days now... seriously, this is not a good sign at all.
---------------------------
There's that famous saying,
" a friend in need is a friend indeed"
to me however, the phrase a friend in need holds a different meaning when it stands alone. Especially when it's ONLY a friend in need.
I FELT SO USED...

Roti Lepas Geram
so you know when someone (or a whole lot of people) pissed you off, and you're looking on a way to vent it out? Here's a suggestion, make a bread or something from the bread family.
I was making my own dough, when my mom came into the kitchen saying she want to eat Pau. So I turn it into a pau dough instead of a bun. haha
here's the ingredients;
500 g flour
100 g sugar
50 g butter/ shortening/ others
1 cup water
pinch of salt
yeast mixed with sugar and water.
sift the flour and salt, put in butter and sugar. mix till it become crubmly.
then add in the yeast and water.
it will become sticky and bit too waterry, so add in the water slowly.
when it finally taken shape and absorbed all the liquid. You can start the cursing.
curse all you want while pounding on the dough.
punch it, slam it, throw it in the air, scream your lungs out for a better feel.
when you're all out of idedas, thats when you can stop. the dough would be smooth to touch. very very tender from all the pounding. So let it rest for around 30 mins minimum.
then when it double up the size, pound it again.
smooth it out. the take some of the dough.
make it into a ball. then flat it out.
put the filling in it.
then close all the seams and shape it up like the pau you see in the shops.
steam it for 30 mins. and tadaaaa~
one of the best way to vent out your anger, exercise and get some good food at the end of it.
package kan?? haha. try it folks.
p/s: through if you're the type who sprays when you talk, do wear a mask because of obvious reasons. and you might want to use a metal bowl or something strong so you don't break those ceramic or glass bowl while pounding the dough.

Just Another Emo post
in light of the Holy Month's eve, I'd not use any 'eff" words tonight (and throughout the month)
Okay,
I'd have to admit my actions (and words) are definitely not a pious statement. Some family members I know think it's a shame to the family name. (like I care to what they think) what bugs me is when people have this prejudicial stereotype that I'm one of those SINNERS, destined to burn in the hereafter, not worthy of doing anything related to religious ceremonies or celebration (minor ones). Just what the hell is your problem? Do I look that bad? Do you think I am just a piece of trash to MY GOD? Is that why I'm not told if there's any religious meeting? nor any religious update news? nor am I included in most religious event? Am I deemed unworthy of such?
owh, and letting me know through secondary tale there's a religious event to rip that guilt of not delivering me the news? haha... that's just classic. It's all " there's no time, it's already too late to get ready, there's no religious clothes for me to wear, yadda, yadda, yadda..."
Just because I don't listen to what preachers say outside of the praying time, it doesn't mean I'm lesser than you. in fact, there are loads of examples where this-so-called pious men who go to preachers (usrah if you would like to call it) drink booze, goes clubbing and perform adultry. that the far end of the spectrum, if you want some milder examples; think
a) flirtatious men (who went to usrah)
b) bribing men (who went to religious forums)
c) hypocrites (who attends religious meetings all the same)
d) many others (malas nak type lagik)
and then there is the dilemma of the damned transportation. Wish I could have the car earlier, so I don't have to bear with all of this. ~Public isn't so good now~
*this entry have been a little bit stretched out from the real situation, but the thinking is there;

selamat menyambut Ramadhan Al-Mubarak
can't hardly wait for Raya ~ forgive, sounds good, forget-- I dont think I could, they say... (breaks off in some song written by a christian--very typical of me, muahks)
-------------------------------------------------
NOTE: please don't get all excited and think I'm mad at you or any other individuals out there. I'm just pissed with the stereotype thinking of the community in general. It's just by chance that the scenario written above happened to me. Remember; It's never about the sample, it's always about the population, aight?
